CLOVIS— Firefighters needed less than 10 minutes to extinguish a small fire at an abandoned house at 2800 W. Seventh St. on Monday.
Firefighters responded to the fire at 3:55 p.m.
Fire Marshal Allan Silvers said the house had been empty for awhile and there “hasn’t been any electricity, utilities, or anything like that that could have caused it.”
