    With antique trucks, horses wearing Christmas lights, Santa Claus and Nativity scenes, the annual Christmas Jubilee Lighted Parade rolled through Portales Friday night. For the 24th annual Jubilee, organized by the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce, the weather was breezy and mild.     A movie theater in Portales again — that’s a new priority for Roosevelt County Community Development Corporation. Portales has been without a movie theater since Tower Twin Theatre closed in June 2009 because the air conditioning system stopped working and the replacement cost was about half of the building’s value.     The annual Portales community Thanksgiving dinner served more people than ever Thursday, an organizer said. Portales Community Outreach offers the turkey dinner at the Memorial Building free to the public every year.     What would Thanksgiving be without pumpkins? Area residents not only cook with the traditional fall food, but some grow it as well. Portales Farmers Market Manager Margie Plummer and her family have been growing pumpkins in their garden for about 20 years, she said.
