    The Clovis High boys golf team, in the start of a busy stretch, finished second at the Brandon Branch Invite at Hobbs. The host Eagles won both the boys and girls events, taking the boys by 314 — 22 shots better than Clovis’ 336, and edged Artesia by a single stroke in girls competition at 381.
