    Did you buy a peach tree last spring? Or maybe an apple tree on summer clearance? Well, believe it or not, it’s time to prune those trees. Yes, it is the dead of winter here on the High Plains. That’s the perfect time, while the fruit trees are dormant, or in a deep sleep. Pruning now will stimulate new growth and encourage fruiting. So let’s get started.
