    Clovis Christian School plans to launch a virtual high school that will allow students to receive a high school diploma by taking nothing but online courses. Superintendent Ladona Clayton said she hopes to have the Truth Seekers Virtual Academy up for a summer session this year and ready for a full launch in August.     A bill that would change the way student success is measured in New Mexico’s schools is headed to state legislators this session. Bill sponsor Rep. Dennis Roch, an assistant superintendent with Texico schools, said under the bill, House Bill 355, each school in the state would be rated by a letter grade, A, B, C, D or F. Roch said the bill would provide a more accurate representation of student achievement than No Child Left Behind’s Adequate Yearly Progress pass or fail rating. A big fan of crocheting is spreading cheer to Clovis area cancer patients from Sea Side, Oregon. Evelyn Rush, 73, began crocheting colorful caps after she got the pattern from a friend. “I started making them and it sort of ballooned,” she said.     A big fan of crocheting from Sea Side, Oregon is spreading cheer to Clovis area cancer patients. Evelyn Rush, 73, began crocheting colorful caps after she got the pattern from a friend. “I started making them and it sort of ballooned,” she said. Rush said she enjoys sitting in the evening and crocheting.
