    PORTALES — The Portales City Council on Tuesday made a tentative agreement with Elite Medical Transport to expand local emergency resources for the Portales Fire Department. Fire Chief T.J.     CLOVIS — The Curry County Commission broke in the new year by approving the purchase of new security equipment at the detention center during their first meeting Tuesday morning.
