    The Elida Tigers played extra baseball against the Portales JV Monday night at Portales and won in eight innings 10-9. The Tigers (3-2) are still tinkering with their pitching staff as Ben Massey started the game and pitched two innings. Caleb Widener pitched two innings as well.     Portales residents are being asked to conserve water after a tornado snapped poles and cut off electricity to most of the city's well field east of town, according to a press release from the Portales Police Department. The tornado, apparently the same one that struck Clovis, passed through the well field located along Cacahuate Road (N.M. 202) shortly before 8 p.m. Friday. According to Capt.     Portales police arrested three city residents Tuesday in drug raids that netted marijuana and cocaine in an ongoing narcotics investigations, according to a Portales Police Department press release. Joe E. Aragon, 27, of Portales, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within a school zone and trafficking cocaine in a school zone.
