  • Portales man facing drunken driving charge

    A Portales man was arrested Wednesday for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, after crashing his truck into three vehicles on South Avenue K. The 1995 GMC pickup collided with three other vehicles parked on the opposite side of the road at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Eastern New Mexico University campus. ENMU Police Chief Brad Mauldin said there were no injuries and no one was hurt. Mauldin said debris from the truck damaged two more vehicles.
