Officials on Tuesday arrested a 16-year-old suspect and charged him with negligent manslaughter, tampering with evidence and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the death of Demariay Singleton. A 31-year-old Clovis woman has been sentenced to 1 ½ years in prison for the battery of a peace officer, according to District Attorney Quentin Ray.
