The Gattis 7th grade football team improved to 3-0 on Tuesday with a 21-12 victory over visiting Portales. Rick Fenstermaker, Nathan Lewis and Luke Clements each scored a touchdown for the Cubs, while Fenstermaker added a PAT kick and a 2-point conversion. Glenco Inc., a Clovis’ structural steel fabricator, is celebrating its 70th birthday on Friday. “We started business in 1954 when my grandfather, Stanley Julian, opened the business,” Matthew Glenn said. MULESHOE – A BNSF train derailed about 9:45 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday along U.S. 84 between Muleshoe and Sudan.
