    A Muleshoe woman died Wednesday night in a vehicle crash in Lamb County, Texas, near Amherst. Sherri Harrison, 57, was killed after her 2009 Toyota Camry collided with a truck near the intersection of U.S. 84 and Farm to Market Road 37, according to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety.     ALBUQUERQUE – The track season comes to an end this weekend for New Mexico Class 1A, 2A and 3A schools with state competition on tap Friday and Saturday at the University of New Mexico track facility.     A Clovis man Thursday was found guilty of two counts of battery on a peace officer by a Curry County jury. Francisco Arzola, 46, was accused of punching one officer in the neck and scratching another officer as they attempted to serve a warrant against him in 2021.     The state Supreme Court Monday upheld the intentional child abuse conviction of a Carlsbad man for the death of his 8-year-old daughter, whose body he dumped in a trash can.
