The $8.5 million remodel at the Eastern New Mexico University Science Building is more than halfway complete and on schedule, according to university officials. The Eastern Plains Council of Government of Clovis has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department, according to a press release from U.S. Sen. Pete Domenici R-N.M. The $115,728 awarded will provide rental assistance for 10 to 13 individuals or families, Shelter Plus Care Program Manager Lori Howard said.
