    CARLSBAD — Clovis High’s girls made a clean sweep of the Artesia Invitational on Saturday. The boys, meantime, settled for a near-sweep. The Lady Wildcats won all 11 events on the girls side while the boys were first in eight of 11. Clovis won the girls division with 316 points to 195 for Hobbs and took boys team honors with 275 to 214 for the Eagles in a six-team get-together.     PORTALES — Roosevelt County Sheriff Malin Parker confirmed Monday that deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident Saturday night on a county road. According to police records, a call for a motor vehicle accident with injuries came into police dispatch at 10:05 p.m. Saturday for the 600 block of Roosevelt Road Q 1/2. Parker confirmed that there were injuries in the accident but declined to comment on how serious they were or if there were any fatalities.
