    A Clovis man accused of shooting a Clovis police officer last year was found guilty Tuesday on an unrelated felony case, according to a release from the district attorney’s office. Anthony Baca, 34, was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. District Judge Fred Van Soelen presided over the trial, which finished shortly after noon following a 15-minute deliberation by a Curry County Jury.     CLOVIS — A Clovis man on Tuesday was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexual assault of a child. Jose Lopez, 25, pleaded guilty in October to the charges. Following his release from prison, he will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, serve lifetime parole and five to 20 years of probation.
