The musical lineup is nearly complete for the Clovis Music Festival, with performances June 26-28 at the Marshall Auditorium. The June 28 headliner is Loverboy, with an opening act still to be determined. Loverboy, a Canadian rock band, is best known for its 1980s hits “Working for the Weekend,” “Turn Me Loose” and “Lovin’ Every Minute of It.” The music festival will again coincide with the Draggin’ Main festivities during the week. “The thing I’m most excited about this year — although I’m excited about Loverboy — is Wed...

Teammates go at each other, in a friendly but competitive sort of way. They...
AMARILLO — The Clovis boys track and field team was on a tear, seeming like it couldn’t be beaten. But tough competition is tough competition, and there was even more of it for the Wildcats in this past weekend’s Amarillo Relays at Dick Bivins Stadium. As a result, the Clovis boys placed fourth with 54 points, behind Tascosa (176), host Amarillo (156.50) and Randall (56). Clovis’ girls also took fourth, ringing up 48 points. The Lady Wildcats were behind Amarillo (174), Canyon (145) and Tascosa (83). Clovis did get two indivi...
