The missing baby whose mother was shot to death at Ned Houk Park on Friday has been located and a suspect taken into custody, Clovis police said Monday morning. Eleia Maria Torres, 10 months old, "has been taken to a local area hospital as a precautionary measure," police said. A family member of homicide victim Samantha Cisneros has started a GoFundMe page to help with expenses associated with her death and injuries to her 5-year-old daughter. Cisneros and Taryn Allen, both 23 of Texico, were killed Friday at Ned Houk Park north of Clovis. Cisneros' 5-year-old daughter was critically injured in the attack and her infant daughter, Eleia Maria Torres, is missing. Police believe the unknown killer has taken the baby. A section of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Clovis will be closed for a week starting Monday. According to a news release from Daniel Lyons, Project Manager for K. Barnett & Sons, the closure is for the EPCOR Aspen Street Meter Relocation project. This year, the number of graduates will be about 479, over 80 more than in 2023 according to CCC Director of Enrollment Services and Registrar Kari Smith.
