STAFF REPORT The Roosevelt County War Memorial Committee announced last week that they are still accepting purchases for engraved stones for the Roosevelt County Courthouse war memorial. Each engraved stone honors someone who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The memorial began as a project of the Portales High School class of 1958 and was originally dedicated on Memorial Day in 2012.
