    PORTALES — The Portales Poilce Department is investigating a fatal shooting Friday night. According to a release from the PPD: • The department responded at 5:33 p.m. to a report of a female with a possible gunshot injury on the 600 block of West 17th Lane. • A female was found at the scene and transported to Roosevelt General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The victim’s information was not immediately shared because of the victim’s age and an ongoing investigation.     PORTALES — The Eastern New Mexico University’s Department of Public Safety investigated a report of shots fired near the San Juan Village Apartments Wednesday evening, and confirmed a juvenile was injured in the incident. A release from the ENMU DPS said no students of the Portales campus were injured as a result of the incident, and the juvenile who left the scene before DPS arrived was treated for injuries that were not life threatening.     SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Health announced on Friday, in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated guidance, that vaccinated individuals will no longer be required to wear masks in indoor or outdoor settings.     CLOVIS — Dairy Farmers of America, along with Gandy's and Dairy MAX, will hold a drive-thru milk giveaway Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis.     CLOVIS -- A Clovis man died early Wednesday morning after he was hit by a truck on Mabry Drive, police said. The victim was identified as 34-year-old Adam Solano.     A Bovina man died Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash on New Mexico 77, near the intersection of Curry Road G. A news release from Curry County Sheriff Wesley Waller stated Garrett Viss, 65, of Bovina was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene. The accident happened about noon Tuesday.     CLOVIS -- A 25-year-old Clovis man on Tuesday was convicted of trafficking illegal drugs. A Clovis jury found Roman Viveros guilty on two counts of trafficking controlled substances, second degree felonies.
