The FBI announced Saturday it's offering a reward of up to $10,000 "for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for starting the fires near Ruidoso." Information posted on the FBI's website did not provide any additional information about how the fires started. The fires began Monday and had burned more than 24,000 acres as of Saturday.
