    CLOVIS - For the rest of this month, locals can experience some of the Selena fandom without driving all the way out to Corpus Christi, Texas. That's because one of her Clovis fans has already made that trip several times over in the past couple of decades, and is sharing some of her collected memorabilia in a display at the Clovis-Carver Public Library.     CASPER, Wyoming — The Eastern New Mexico University Rodeo team wrapped up its second day of competition at the College National Finals Rodeo on Monday afternoon. The Greyhounds have three competitors in this year’s CNFR — Celie Vick in goat tying, Lindsey Adcock in breakaway roping, and Landon Beardsworth in steer wrestling.     Helping others can be dirty work. Such is the case with the United Way's latest project - Diaper Drive 2018. United Way of Eastern New Mexico Executive Director Erinn Burch said about 21,000 diapers were donated to the cause a year ago. This year's goal is 30,000. Burch said about 2,000 children - birth to age 4 - live in poverty in Curry and Roosevelt counties. That means many toddlers and babies don't have an adequate supply of diapers.     Range, gun shop purchased A Portales couple has purchased The Firing Pin, an indoor shooting range and gun shop. The range is at 1654 Highway U.S. 60/84 just east of the main entrance to Cannon Air Force Base. Jim and Christi Lucero purchased the business after “a restructuring of the assets of Target Sports Retail,” according to a news release from the Luceros. The purchase price was not disclosed.
