Captured on film: The most interesting email of the week award goes to Dennis Long of Ardmore, Oklahoma. “I have inherited some 8mm film of our family,” he begins. “The approximate dates range from the late 1950s through 1975.” Long has transferred the film of the eastern New Mexico area onto compact disks since some of us don’t have 8mm film projectors anymore. STAFF REPORT The Roosevelt County Road Department will be working on South Roosevelt Road N 1/2 from South Roosevelt Road 5 to South Roosevelt Road 6. That section of the road will be closed to traffic Tuesday and Wednesday. Road crews will be preparing the subgrade, then will begin hauling in caliche to resurface the roadway. Staff report Clovis police announced Thursday that arrest warrants have been issued for two men they’ve described as armed and dangerous. Darrell Wayne Morgan, 31, and Francisco Lujan, 32, are being sought in connection with an assault that occurred Monday in the 700 block of Sheldon Street in Clovis.
