    CLOVIS — A local couple was seriously injured and a Las Vegas, Nevada, man arrested early Saturday morning following a traffic accident on U.S. 60/84. Officials said Michael Anthony Lucero, 41, of Melrose, and Elizabeth Lucero, 45, of Clovis, were hospitalized in Lubbock after their Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a Ford Ranger pickup driven by Willie Warren, 72.     PORTALES - As drought conditions remain in place throughout eastern New Mexico, the Roosevelt County Commission will consider re-adopting a fire safety ordinance previously approved in April 2014.
