    The state supreme court on Thursday affirmed a 2014 double-murder conviction in Clovis, but reversed convictions related to child abuse, according to a news release from New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas. Enrique Deleon will continue serving two concurrent life sentences for his conviction on the 2011 slayings of two neighbors in Clovis.     PORTALES — A man suspected of fleeing from a fatal one-vehicle crash in Portales two years ago has been arrested and charged with vehicular homicide. Records show Jose Angel Calderon, 28, was booked in the Roosevelt County Detention Center on Thursday night and charged with homicide by vehicle, great bodily injury by vehicle (DWI), and leaving the scene of an accident, among other charges.     CLOVIS — More than 30 criminal cases have been dismissed due to “serious credibility issues” for their association with a fired Curry County sheriff’s deputy, according to District Attorney Andrea Reeb. Many of the cases “were not complicated or serious matters,” Reeb said, since the deputy had only been in the position for about nine months before leaving.
