He was born on May 30 1924, in Grandfield, Okla., to Benjamin Franklin “Frank” and Sara Elizabeth “Sadie” Houston Thompson. His family moved to a farm in the Floyd community when he was a year old. Reva Farmer Services:Have been held. Mrs. Reva G. Farmer, 92, of Bovina, died Sunday, July 31, 2005, at Prairie Acres Nursing Home in Friona. She was born on July 8, 1913, in Hedley, Texas, to W.F. and Martha Youngblood. She married Earl G. Farmer on June 19, 1933, in Fort Smith, Ark. They moved to House in 1936, where they farmed. Julian Cordova Services: Have been held. Julian Jose Cordova, 84, of Logan, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Amarillo. He was born on Jan. 10, 1921, in Logan. He was a member of the San Antonio Catholic Church, the Society de Padre Nuestro Senor in Logan, and the Guadalupe G. Ramirez, American Legion Post 77 in Logan. James West Services: Have been held. Mr. James R. West, 89, of Clovis, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Clovis. He was born on Feb. 17, 1916, in Land, Ala. He moved to Clovis from Bloomfield in 1993. He retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company in 1976 after 34 years. Family members said he was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he loved to garden and fish.
