    PROGRESS -- A Muleshoe student and bus driver were injured Monday afternoon when a tractor trailer rig collided with the rear of the parked bus near Progress on U.S. 84. Muleshoe schools Superintendent R.L. Richards said the student and bus driver were taken by ambulance from the scene. He declined to speculate on the extent of their injuries.     CLOVIS - Police early Sunday arrested a man suspected of being involved with a kidnapping and shooting. Carlos Sanchez-Trillo, 31, was taken into custody without incident following a traffic stop about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of East Howard Street, according to a Clovis police Facebook post. Police said they were looking for Sanchez-Trillo after a 20-year-old male approached a city of Clovis employee Friday morning at the city landfill.     CLOVIS — In a special meeting Tuesday afternoon, Curry County Commissioners heard work is progressing slowly on addressing “forever chemical” contamination at and around Cannon Air Force Base first disclosed two years ago.
