    A Clovis High School senior in the Early College High School program has been named a semifinalist in the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Isaiah Garcia joins 16,000 high school seniors selected as semifinalists, according to a news release from Clovis Municipal Schools.     Portales’ annual Little Miss Merry Christmas Contest kicks off next month. All contestants must attend an information meeting at the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce, 100 S.
