    A Portales man is being medically evaluated as of Monday after being involved in a shooting incident Saturday, according to Portales police. No injuries were reported. Acting Portales Police Chief Pat Gallegos said the man, who is believed to be in his 60s, was suicidal and was only a threat to himself Saturday evening. He said no one has been charged in the incident. The incident took place between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at a home on West 17th Street.
