    The Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority Board unanimously voted to approve the execution of a $14.51 million Water Project Fund loan/grant agreement between the New Mexico Finance Authority and the ENMWUA on Thursday.     SANTA FE—The New Mexico Higher Education Department (HED) has awarded $2.8 million in student debt relief to doctors, nurses, dentists, and other health professionals working in communities across New Mexico.     A Clovis school teacher was injured Tuesday when he tried to separate students fighting at the Freshman Academy, according to Clovis police Capt. Roman Romero. The teacher, whom Romero declined to name, was taken to Plains Regional Medical Center due to his injuries. Romero provided no additional information on the 56-year-old teacher’s condition.     The Portales City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved an agreement between the city and the New Mexico Department of Transportation that provides state and local funding to operate the Portales Area Transit service for fiscal 2023, which ends on June 30, 2023.
