PORTALES — Eastern New Mexico University junior Mikaehla Connor was named the Lone Star Conference’s defensive player of the week, according to a release from the college. CLOVIS — On Wednesday’s Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, commissioners unanimously disapproved rezoning a residential single family district to a mixed development district. The proposed zone change was for a three-bedroom home located on the 800 block of York Street.
