    In the past six weeks, several animal clinics and shelters have reported an increase in distemper cases in the city of Clovis. Retired Veterinarian Dr. David Hudson said the highly contagious and deadly disease has become a full on “outbreak” within the community. “As a veterinarian in this community for over 30 years, we would see cases of distemper but they were rare.
