Clovis police are asking the public's help in locating a driver whose cream-colored Ford Explorer crashed into a home in the 900 block of Comer Drive early Thursday morning. Two people were in the home, but no injuries were reported, police said in a news release. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival. Clovis police are investigating a shooting that occurred about 10 p.m. Monday in the area around 11th and Wallace streets. Records show Angel Villalobos was shot in both legs and then moved to the area of 10th and Mitchell where he was interviewed by police and treated for his wounds. Multiple gunshots were exchanged outside the Clovis Apartments late Tuesday night, leaving one teenager dead and another on the run from police. Demetrius Anderson, 16, was shot multiple times and pronounced dead soon after arrival at Plains Regional Medical Center. A 43-year-old man was jailed Friday after he broke into a home in the 1800 block of College Park Drive and began shooting, according to a news release from Clovis police. No one was seriously injured. Police said they recovered 15 shell casings inside the home.
