Wildcats split with Hobbs

Sean Cruce and Ryan Denton collected two hits each and Luke Gray went the distance as Clovis edged Hobbs 3-2 in the first game of Thursday’s West Texas Baseball League doubleheader at Bell Park.

Gray scattered six hits over seven innings.
