Mr. Gilbert Jacob Carl Schueler, 82, of Homelake, Colo., died Monday, July 14, 2003, at Colorado State Veterans Center.
He was born on May 25, 1921 in Parmer County, Texas, to Herman and Emma Gaumeier Schueler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Anetta Pehr Schueler.
He is survived by four sons, Daniel C. Schueler of Clovis, Calif., Darrel G. Schueler of San Diego, David C. Schueler of Seattle and Douglas B. Schueler of Wilmington, N.C.; four daughters, Deanne E. Elliott of Monte Vista, Colo., Doris E. Schueler of Broomfield, Colo., Darlene A. Schueler of Chicago and Denise D. Cordivano of Lincoln University, Pa.; a sister, Velma Schlenker of Friona; two brothers, Walter and Herbert Schueler, both of Friona; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Dave Symm will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Rhea Cemetery in Rhea, Texas.
Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.
