Organizations in Clovis and Portales will deliver Emergency Food Assistance Program commodities at various locations this week, Nancy Taylor, executive director of Life Saver Food Bank, said in a news release.

“Services and declaration requirements will be similar according to the capabilities of each volunteer agency,” she said.

“Distribution records may be audited.

“There will be a location in Clovis or Portales where emergency commodities will be available weekly and, in the future, almost daily,” she said.

She asked participants to bring plastic bags when they go to pick up commodities.

Clovis area times, locations and distribution areas include:

> 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Grand Avenue Homes Nursery Office, corner of Grand and Upsilon streets, serving Bella Vista neighborhood, Clovis Apartments and Grand Avenue Homes I and II. St. John’s Baptist Church Pantry is sponsor.

> 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Grand Avenue Homes Nursery Office, corner of Grand and Upsilon streets, community day; names beginning from A to L will be served from 9 to 11 a.m., and M to Z from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. St. John’s Baptist Church Pantry is sponsor.
