Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Police received two reports on Feb. 25 from the county health department regarding a 13-year-old girl in the juvenile detention center. The girl had a vaginal infection and reported an ongoing sexual relationship with two men, one 18 and the other 22.

Officers reported they would treat the incidents as cases of criminal sexual penetration of a minor.

A Clovis school principal called police about 3 p.m. on Feb. 25 regarding a man on the 800 block of Hinkle who she said has been exposing his genitals to the public including students. The principal said she had been told the man suffers from a degenerative brain disease,

Police took written statements from students, staff, and a magistrate judge and said they would attempt to obtain a warrant for his arrest despite his mental condition.

A parent called police about 4 p.m. Thursday to report two sixth-grade girls had been writing profanities on a house in the 2900 block of Vohs.

Both students admitted to the incident. Police said they would be seeing warrants for their arrest on charges of unauthorized graffiti

About 4:45 p.m. Thursday, police received a call from a Clovis woman whose business had repossessed a 1983 Honda Accord and found a bag with a green leafy substance inside.

Police field-tested the subject and determined it was marijuana. Police advised they would be take the case to the district attorney for possible charges.

About 4 p.m. Friday, a restaurant manager called police to the 2000 block of North Prince regarding a counterfeit $10 bill received in payment for food. The manager said he had taken the bill to a bank, which verified it was counterfeit.
