Ola Mae Wylie Pine, 77, of Albuquerque died Monday, April 12, 2004.
She was born on Feb. 20, 1927, in Larned, Kan.
She moved to Fort Sumner shortly after she was born. She spent several years working in Santa Fe before moving to Albuquerque. She was a charter member of Cabane 703, La Societé de Femme.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Harold Pine; and three brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Diantha Swoboda; a son-in-law, Lawrence Wheeler; three grandchildren, Lauren Frost of Albuquerque, Alles Meghan Cubbage of Deatsville, Ala., and Lael Wheeler of Atlanta, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Kristen Frost and Kaleb and Kimmie Cubbage; four sisters, Irene Sanchez of Albuquerque, Rita Migacz of Colonia, N.J., Dee Wilmeth of Clovis and June Brazell of Alba, Texas.
Burial will be at Fort Sumner Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Albuquerque.
Arrangements are by Chavez Funeral Home of Fort Sumner.
