• The Floyd Kindergarten Graduation is Thursday at 6 p.m.

• The Floyd High School Graduation is Saturday at 2 p.m. Baccalaureate begins at 1:30 p.m.

• Next Wednesday is the last day of school.

Floyd Heritage Books

The recent order of the Floyd Heritage Books are in. If you ordered one, you can pick it up at the Floyd Community Building (Toni Whitecotton, 478-2585) or contact Jackie Clark at the Roosevelt County Extension Office, 705 E. Lime in Portales, or call 356-4417.

Around Town…

Troy and Jill Thompson have added another new addition to their family. Their newest son, David James was born on April 20th, weighing in at 8 lbs. He has three big brothers: Chris, Michael, and Jacob, and a big sister Amy.
