Mrs. Perna T. Hailey, 84, of Clovis, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1919, in Romance, Mo., to Logan and Mae Birch Naugle.

She married Robert T. Hailey on Aug. 8, 1939, in Ava, Mo. She had been a resident of Clovis since 1995, moving from Lubbock. She had been a longtime resident of the Tulsa, Okla., area. They had owned the Daylite Donut Shops in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, Okla. She was a member of 16th & Pile Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Ben; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Hailey (and wife, Carol Kay) of Clovis and Harold Hailey (Margaret) of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Nova Sue Adkison of Cushing, Okla.; a sister, Wilma Fish of Gainesville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Jim Gammon will officiate the services.

Burial will be at 3 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow.

Pallbearers are Ralph Meyers, Kevin Adkison, Eric Johnson, Carl Sherwood, Randy Fish, Jim, David, Robert and Gary Hailey.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
