Oleta P. Boone, 83, of Clovis, died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at the Retirement Ranch in Clovis.

She was born on Sept. 26, 1920, in Farwell, to Chesley and Ellen Crow.

She has been a lifelong resident of Clovis.

She was a lifetime hospital volunteer and served over 20 years with the Pink Ladies Auxiliary, accruing more than 3,000 hours of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lois Young, Nell Donelson and Belva Ford; and a brother, Lewis Crow.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Boone of Clovis; a son, Dudley Boone (and wife, Valarie) of Fayetteville, Ga.; a daughter, Betty Wolfe (Skip) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren, Lisa, Jason and Katie Wolfe and Christian and Allison Boone; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Van McCormick will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Texico Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Roger Hatcher, D.D. Hatcher, Swede Johnson, Bob Lynch, Hal Widner and Brian Boone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home, Box 629, Portales, New Mexico 88130.
