Mrs. Manila Azalea Reed, 76, of Clovis, a housewife, died Monday, May 17, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born on June 21, 1927, in Flomot, Texas, to H.A. and Mary Stephens.
She attended school in Clovis. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery with the 3 year olds until illness forced her to retire.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Evelyn Hil.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn D. Reed of Clovis; a daughter, Sharon Reed of Clovis; a son, Stephen Reed of Clovis; two sisters, Vernell Wall of Clovis and Belle Guthrie (and husband, Gus) of Yukon, Okla.; a brother, Daryle Stephens (Bobbie) of Clovis; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special friends, Peggy and Mike Kerr, Christopher and Diana Kerr, Michelle and Adam Edwards, Michael Parmeter and Brendi and Donnie Fennimore.
The Rev. Joseph Vest will officiate the services assisted by the Rev. Mike Eberhardt.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
