Frankie Joe Padilla, 47, of Clayton, died Thursday, July 29, 2004, in Clayton.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1956, in Clayton, to Joe Jr. and Mary Nora Valdez Padilla.
He married Linda Mae White on Dec. 27, 1975, in Tucumcari. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving for seven years. He worked most of his life in heating and air conditioning in the Clovis School District.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a brother, Michael Anthony Padilla; grandfathers, Joe Padilla Sr. and Dessie Valdez; and a grandmother, Rose Valdez.
Survivors include his parents; two sons, Brandon and Ty Padilla, both of Tucumcari; three brothers, Danny and Michael Padilla, both of Clayton, and Morris Padilla of Las Vegas, N.M.; a sister, Annabelle Padilla of Clayton; a special friend, Carol Baca of Clovis; his paternal grandmother, Pauline Padilla of Clayton; his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Estella White of Tucumcari; a niece, Charlemagne Padilla of Clayton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Father James McGowan officiated the services.
Burial was at Clayton Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
