CARLSBAD — The Clovis volleyball team dropped their second straight District 4-5A match Tuesday, losing to Carlsbad 25-13, 17-25, 25-15, 25-22.
Errors plagued the Lady Wildcats (3-11, 1-2 in district), according to Clovis coach Darrel Ray.
“Carlsbad played well, but I bet we gave them a half to a third of their points,” Ray said.
Ray said his team played inconsistently with good stretches and good games followed by slow starts and mistakes.
Erin Lynn and Micah Pruett led Carlsbad (7-8, 1-1) with nine kills each.
Siobhan Flatow led Clovis with five kills.
Both teams recorded eight aces.
