Around Town

Colton Tucker Pimpsner was born Oct. 1 at 9:30 p.m. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Proud members of the family are Floyd School’s own secretary, Melissa, and her husband Dan, and big sister Tori Tucker.

The movie, “Believe in Me,” has a scene filmed at the Floyd Methodist Church last Friday. There were some delays and changes in the schedule due to the recent rain. The movie takes place in a drought, so mud puddles had to be covered up. Cars, equipment trucks, and dressing room trailers lined the road and all parking lots from the Community Building all the way to the church.
