Zias post win at Wayland Baptist

PLAINVIEW, Texas — Senior Kelley McGinty posted a double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs and the Eastern New Mexico University Zias defeated Wayland Baptist 30-27, 30-28, 30-16 Thursday night in non-conference volleyball.

Lindsay Schiely added 12 kills for the Zias (21-7). Senior Jessica Weeks and junior Olivia Boan had 14 and 13 digs, respectively.

For the Pioneers (5-24), MaryGrace George had 11 kills.

The Zias return to Lone Star Conference South Division play for their final two regular-season matches next week, playing at Tarleton State on Thursday and at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday.
