William Flatt, Jr., 58, of Dalhart, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, in Dalhart.

He was born on Jan. 28, 1946, in Tehachapi, Calif., to William and Delma Lee Flatt. He was raised in the Tatum area and graduated from Tatum High School. He cowboyed in New Mexico, Texas, and Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; a daughter; and a brother.

Survivors include a brother, Bob J. Flatt (and wife, Freda) of Ada, Okla.; and three sisters, Faye Williamson (A.E.) of Roswell, Patricia Herrington (John) of Casper, Wyo., and Linda Stafford (Jerry) of Amarillo.

John Herrington will officiate the services.

Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart, Texas.
