Bernadine “Bernie” Cruz, 41, of Clovis, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 in Clovis.
She was born Dec. 16, 1962 to Walter and Phyllis Pierce Youngquist in Victorville, Calif. She has been a resident of Clovis since 1969. She worked for Twin Cronnies, Taco Villa, and K-Mart in Clovis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Tommy Miles; and a niece, Diane Miles.
Survivors include two sons, Fernando Cruz Jr. of Clovis, and Liam Crisp of Clovis; five sisters, Betty Stockos of Nacogdoches, Texas, Eula Baca of McKinney, Texas, Jennie Martinez, Helen Miles Collier, and Shirley Richardson all of Clovis; four brothers, Pete Clarke of Colorado Springs, Colo., Parker Miles of Oklahoma City, Wally and Chuck Yougquist, both of Clovis; and longtime companion, Larry Crisp of Clovis.
Pastor Van Pollard will officiate the services.
Pallbearers are Vincent Beltran, Pete Youngquist, Nick Richardson, Archie Roybal, Roy Barela, and Eric Barela.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
