Yucca, Clovis High selected to perform

The Yucca Junior High School Chorale and Clovis High School Band were selected to perform on the honors concert at the All-State Music Convention in Albuquerque.

The honors concert will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday at the University of New Mexico’s Popejoy Hall.

To prepare for the concert, the choir and band will present “Home Honor Concert” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Marshall Junior High School Auditorium. Admission is $2 and activity tickets will be honored.

This is the band’s fifth and the choir’s first appearance on the honors concert since its inception in the mid-1970s.
