Mrs. Mamie June Howard, 78, of Clovis, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Bishop Davies Nursing Center in Hurst, Texas.

She was born on Jan. 6, 1926, in Pottawatomie County, Okla., to Harmon and Viola Maples.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, William D. Howard; a daughter, Teresa King of Arlington, Texas; a son, W. Daniel Howard of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Mary Ann Rury of Lubbock and Marjorie Dickson of Clovis; a brother, Jon H. Maples of Temple, Texas; and four grandchildren, Heather and Matthew King, and Aaron and Levi Howard.

Pastor Doug Brooks will officiate the services.

Cremation will take place.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
