Florinda “Inda” Gallegos, 78, of Clovis, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, in Clovis.

She was born on June 21, 1926, in Santa Rosa, to Guadalupe and Ignacita Chavez Martinez. She married Nicanor Gallegos on Nov. 22, 1945, in Clovis. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Family members said she loved to play bingo, dance and cook for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Elijio and Pablo Martinez; a sister, Cecelia Martinez; and her parents.

Survivors include five daughters, Priscilla Sanchez (and husband, Frank), Dolly Valdez (Alex), Cecilia Gauna (Billy) and Dora Lucio (Feliciano) all of Clovis, and Terri Ramirez (Frank) of Rio Rancho; two sons, Nick Gallegos (Mary Lou) of Temple, Texas, and James Gallegos (Mary) of Clovis; five sisters, Josie Campbell, Antonia Drummond, Frances Sandoval, Mary Ann Sandoval and Susie Sena, all of Clovis; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Clovis.

Father Sotero Sena and Father Carlos Sena will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

Pallbearers are David Sanchez, Alex Valdez, Richard Gauna, Antonio Lucio, Mike Johnson, Brian Ramirez and Gary Gallegos.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
