Joseph Duane “Joe” Dirickson, 20, of Huntsville, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at his home.
He was born Nov. 21, 1984, to Duane and Mary Quiteria Martinez Dirickson in Midland, Texas. He was a member of First Christian Church in Huntsville.
He is survived by his father, Duane Dirickson (and companion, Theresa Crosby) of Livingston, Texas; three uncles, Eugene Martinez (Margaret) Livingston, Trinidad Martinez of Clovis, Alan Dirickson (Linda) of Las Vegas; three aunts, Dana Dirickson, Lynn Snow (Frank), all of Midland, Texas, and Reyna Strabala (Mike) of Richmond, Va.; and great-grandmother, Dominga Dirickson of Odessa, Texas.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Jacle Dirickson, and Trinidad and Antonia Martinez; mother, Mary Dirickson; and uncle, Samuel Martinez.
Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday at St. Rita Catholic Church in Carrizozo.
Father Dave Bergs will officiate the services.
Burial will follow services at St. Rita Cemetery in Carrizozo.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Huntsville, Texas, with Rev. Larry Cruse officiating.
Pallbearers will be Matt Lindley, Hector Davilla, Jacob Davilla, Michael Chalan, Sam Martinez, George Vega, John Stapleton and James Stapleton.
